ARCHIMEDE
Automatic drilling and filling machine model ARCHIMEDE, with 1 filling tool and 2 drills, for the production of both technical and household brushes. Machine speed up to 480 RPM (480 tufts/min).
The ARCHIMEDE is a vertical machine with 1 filling tool and 2 drills, running in continues cycle (with 3-stations carriages) or discontinuous cycle (with 2-stations carriages). 5 axes electronically driven by brushless servomotors and controlled by Personal Computer. By changing specific equipment this machine can produce a wide range of models with different filling angles: Equipment for radial, parallel and combination radial/parallel tufted brushes; Equipment for bowl brushes and semi-spherical brushes; Equipment for rollers; Equipment for discs; Equipment for flat brushes. Two high speed drills for holes up to 10mm. One filling tool driven by twin-cam system; filling tool stroke 60mm (85/140/200 mm also available) to work with fibre up to 240mm length (300/420/500 mm with stroke 85/140/200 mm respectively); filling tool sizes available from 20 to 75 (up to 90 with long stroke). The machine has the capability to feed staple-wire or anchor-bar via an electronic wire feeding system. Machine speed up to 480 RPM with stroke 60mm (430/330/250 RPM with stroke 85/140/200 mm). Centralized and automatic lubrication system.
