Automatic brush manufacturing machine Mod. AB4/C/PAS for the production of twisted-in-wire brushes with handle assembly and labeling. The machine is made up of the following: Twisting unit and trimming unit. Stock box for natural and synthetic (single or two colors) fibre with lengths from 30 mm (1,2) up to 140 mm (5,5). The trimming group is a rotary mill cutter type, controlled by a Personal Computer. Unit for bending handle insertion and labeling. The straight, twisted brushes are bent into the desired shape and continue to the handle loading station. The handles are loaded into a hopper, which feeds one handle for each brush head. The stem wires of the brush head are heated via a solid-state induction unit and then the plastic handle is inserted onto the stem wires. If desired (optional) a labeling station can be added. Brush ejection unit is made up of a conveyor belt, which transports the finished brushes to the packaging area. The capability of the machine to feed the stem wire off of large pay-off coils and the large dimension of the stock box, give a long autonomy of operation to the machine. The machine meets all requirements in Laws for Safety and Health imposed by the European Community and it is certified with the CE mark. Production rate : 360 brushes/hour Power draw : 16,5 Kw Compressed air consumption : 523 Liters hour (0,307 CFM) Compressed air pressure : 6 - 7 Bar (90 PSI).
